BUILT FOR SERIOUS PLAY
Legacy Turf & Greens designs and installs high-quality synthetic playground turf for schools, parks, childcare centers, HOAs, multifamily communities, commercial properties, and residential play areas throughout Central Texas.
From Round Rock and Cedar Park to Georgetown, Pflugerville, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Buda, Kyle, and surrounding communities, every installation is built around the site, expected traffic, and long-term use.
DESIGNED FOR DAILY USE
Playgrounds concentrate traffic around slides, swings, climbing structures, entrances, and gathering areas. The surface needs to look finished while standing up to repeated daily use.
Legacy installs playground turf for:
Each installation is planned around the equipment layout, site conditions, drainage, access, and expected use.

MORE THAN THE TURF
A successful playground turf installation begins with what’s underneath. Proper grading, drainage, base preparation, edging, and transitions all play an important role in how the finished surface performs.
Legacy Turf & Greens builds each playground area around the specific site conditions and project requirements, with careful attention to durability, drainage, and long-term use.
DETAILS MATTER
Playgrounds can require dozens of precise cuts and transitions around posts, borders, curbs, walkways, drains, and equipment.
Legacy takes pride in those details.
Careful seam placement, secure edges, accurate cuts, and clean transitions help create a playground surface that looks intentionally built into the space rather than installed around it afterward.
BUILT FOR BACKYARDS
Backyard play areas can quickly wear down natural grass around swings, slides, and climbing equipment.
Artificial turf creates a clean, finished surface that stays usable through everyday play while reducing mud, bare spots, and routine lawn maintenance.
Legacy Turf & Greens builds residential playground areas to fit naturally into the surrounding yard, landscaping, and outdoor living space.
WHY LEGACY
Legacy Turf & Greens brings more than a decade of synthetic turf experience to residential, commercial, recreational, and specialty installations throughout Central Texas.
PLAYGROUND TURF FAQs
Answers for schools, municipalities, property managers, developers, HOAs, childcare operators, and homeowners evaluating synthetic turf for a playground project.
Legacy looks at the existing surface, drainage, grades, playground equipment, borders, access, and project requirements before recommending a new turf system.
The turf is carefully fitted around posts, structures, curbs, drains, and borders. Precise cuts, secure edges, and well-planned seams are critical to a professional finished installation.
Every playground is different. Site conditions, drainage, equipment layout, surrounding surfaces, intended use, and any project-specific requirements should all be considered before installation begins.
Poor drainage, inadequate base construction, weak seams, unsecured edges, or the wrong turf system can shorten its service life. High-traffic playgrounds benefit from careful planning before installation begins.
A site plan, approximate square footage, equipment information, existing surface conditions, access limitations, and any project surfacing requirements help Legacy evaluate the installation more accurately.
Legacy evaluates existing elevations, drainage paths, hardscape, and base conditions before construction. The drainage approach is then planned around the specific site rather than using a one-size-fits-all detail.
